You may found very low difference in 3DMarks and strong difference - about 1.6 times - in CPUMarks. My home desktop - Pentium D 915 with ATI Radeon 9550 - has 1910 3DMarks (yeah, my ATI 9550 card was overclocked to 500 MHz on GPU and 233 MHz on memory) and 3450 CPUMarks. Hm, I was thinking I have about 4200 CPUMarks on my desktop - possible it's because my system works with (very?) old DDR400 memory and I would have all my CPUMarks on this CPU when I upgraged my system to DDR2-800 - and new motherboard with newer chipset, sure.
